D'Arce Choke from Side Control

Use this when you have side control and can isolate the opponent's arm. By shelling the elbow and walking your feet in, you drop your chest across the neck to lock in the choke.

  2. 2Bring your free hand over the top to grab the inside of your thigh.0:14
  3. 3Place your other hand on the floor to block the opponent's hips.0:19
  4. 4Walk your feet in a circle while dropping your chest quickly.0:23
  5. 5Bring the opponent's arm completely across their neck and face.0:28
  6. 6Lock up the D'Arce by grabbing your bicep or sleeve.0:35
