Sidemount Escape — Elbow Circle

A variation for when the opponent is not fully bearing weight. It uses an elbow circle and counterbalance to create space and return to guard.

  1. 1Move your hip out and push up with your arm just enough to raise the opponent's chest.4:02
  2. 2Circle your arm underneath you, keeping the elbow low and lifting as you rotate.4:15
