Underhook Half Guard Sweep

A fundamental sweep from underhook half guard that uses the free leg as a lever to lift the opponent's hips, allowing the bottom player to drive through and take the back or pass.

  4. 4Use your free leg (the one not controlling distance) as a lever to pull the opponent's hips away.4:35
  5. 5Bridge up with your base leg while dragging the free leg, keeping the knee pointed up.5:05
  6. 6Stand on your base leg and drive through, grabbing the ankle strap or pant leg to secure the sweep.6:20
