Aoki Lock

Use this when your opponent hides their heel to defend against a standard heelhook. It works by exposing the heel and applying rotational torque while controlling the knee.

The Aoki Lock is pretty much a heelhook disguised as a straight ankle lock. If you’re trying to elevate your leglock game this is a must know. I like setting these up when my opponent’s hide their heel to defend my heelhooks. Which is a common thing nowadays since more and more people have been catching up to the leglock game. So we need different ways to attack the legs to stay ahead. Save it, drill it, hit it in practice and as always let me know how it went for you! #jiujitsu #grappling #leglocks
