High Step Entry to J-Point
Use this entry when your opponent's knees are wide and reaching toward you, making toriando difficult. It solves the problem of getting past the hip line against extended guards by capitalizing on the exposed hip. The mechanism is timing—stuffing the extending leg and stepping to the hip before they can recover, then securing the position with grips and wedge pressure.
