Turning the Corner Takedown

A clinch takedown used when a double-leg is sprawled out. It uses a lat pull and outside step to turn the opponent, neutralizing their under-hook by dropping the armpit on their wrist before finishing with a hip lift.

  2. 2Pull the opponent's lat with the key hand while stepping the outside foot wide.2:30
  3. 3Drop your armpit directly onto the opponent's wrist.3:34
  4. 4Drop to your knees and glue the opponent's arm to their body.3:55
  5. 5Step up with the inside leg first, then drive hips under the opponent.4:13
