Bridge and Roll Escape

A foundational escape using limb traps and hip movement to reverse the opponent. It works by creating leverage through trapped limbs and bridging momentum to roll the top player over.

  1. 1Trap one of the opponent's arms on your side using an overhook or pinning their elbow against your back.0:15
  2. 2Shift your hips laterally to the side of the trapped arm.1:10
  3. 3Trap the opponent's leg on the same side by turning your knees toward it and pulling your heel to your butt.1:22
  4. 4Look back over your shoulder toward the trapped leg and bridge explosively in that direction.1:39
