Gangster Lean to Mounted Triangle

Designed for smaller grapplers to bypass standard mount defenses, this sequence uses a modified high mount entry to secure wrist control and posture break, enabling a mounted triangle or a straight arm lock finish.

  1. 1Walk the opponent's arm up while securing an underhook and sliding your knee up like a back take.0:05
  2. 2Point your far foot upward and pull it toward the opponent's hip while establishing a meat hook grip under their armpit.0:14
  3. 3Grab their wrist and push away; if they turn into you, extend at the wrist to break posture.0:24
  4. 4Enter the triangle by jumping your foot or walking toe-heel-toe-heel up the body, stomping the bicep, collecting the head, and shooting through.0:40
  5. 5If you cannot secure the triangle fully, transition directly into a straight arm lock or shotgun armbar.1:02
