Mounted Triangle Choke

A triangle choke entered from side mount by lifting the opponent's shoulder with a wrist pin and armpit grip, then entangling the leg to lock the triangle. It works by using the hamstring to cut off blood flow when the knee is driven deep.

  1. 1Pin the opponent's wrist to the mat with one hand while reaching behind their head with the other to grip the opposite armpit.1:55
  2. 2Lift the opponent's shoulder by leaning your body weight into the armpit grip, then drive your knee high behind their head.2:30
  3. 3Rotate your hips and foot so your leg goes under their arm, then step your shin over the top of their head.3:10
